Sherif has been serving poor people with Habitat Egypt for seventeen years ago in the housing microfinance sector for building and improving house, He took charge of managing and coordinating the program and the relationship with partners from civil society organizations and NGOs, He worked closely with representatives of communities and grassroots groups. He was responsible for the program and technical support of a working group. Partners in the Habitat Housing Program in more than 40 communities, assessment and selection of partners, capacity building of partners, Local committees, representatives and leaders of target communities in housing issues and community development, and management of housing Microfinance program, managing the housing support services section provided to the beneficiaries of Habitat Egypt housing microfinance by the engineers of Habitat Egypt communities, and NGOs and CDAs in order to enhance their role in the development process. He also participated in designing development projects to target marginalized and poor groups, both at the level of informal areas, and poor villages, especially in Upper Egypt, which are complementary activities to housing loans in order to reach the comprehensive development of communities, and in the year 2020 he has Establishing and developing a micro-loans program to solve water and sanitation problems in order to reach and contribute to solving one of the most important causes of housing problems in rural areas to empower the poorest families and provide and make available the provision of water and sanitation facilities for their homes, working in comprehensive development and enterprise microfinance sector since 1997.
