A Cairo-based researcher, designer, teacher, and urban/feminist Activist. She holds an MSc in Urban Design from the Brandenberg University of Technology- Germany, and Cairo University-Egypt. Her work focuses on urban life, offering resilient solutions for its users. Her work varies between public engagement projects, urban design, and social/ethnographical research/ Advocacy through illustrations and awareness-raising.Currently, she works as a Project Manager at Habitat for Humanity Egypt, where the NGO focuses on providing housing solutions for the poorest and most vulnerable communities that will be highly impacted by climate change. She is currently managing a project titled My Safe Home that focuses on supporting affordable housing and Mainstreaming gender and youth rights in marginalized communities.
