Marwa Soliman is the Head of international and the local funding department and she is the technical supporter for projects at the Urban Development Fund UDF (formally Informal Settlement Development Fund ISDF). She is responsible for preparing and reviewing technical reports, formulating the terms of reference, supporting the UDF staff with tools and methods for intersection of urban development, financial tools, management structures, governance and institutional mechanism. She also manages and supports projects funded by international agencies, and to create networks collaboration with Academia and Donors. Marwa has more than 20 years’ experience in participatory urban planning, strategic planning for cities and villages, and preparing action plans for developing the informal areas and markets.Her PhD focused on the Strategic Planning for the Egyptian cities. she is also obtained a diploma "Developing Social Housing Projects from IHS, Erasmus University Rotterdam.
