Leonie Grob is a programme assistant at the Cities for Women Global Programme at Cities Alliance that focuses on increasing girls’ and women’s engagement in urban development and governance through participatory planning and design processes. She has undertaken various participatory action research-projects about housing as urban commons across Europe and South America. She has gained experience in researching and co-managing projects about urban segregation of women, girls and ethnic minorities in Latin America and the Balkans, and has participated in various academic projects about the political steering effects of the Sustainable Development Goals and the role of cities in advancing these. Leonie is trained in Sustainability Governance, Latin American Studies and Development Economics.
