Jenny Bjerlestam

Jenny Bjerlestam is currently working as the housing land and property specialist with UN-Habitat in Lebanon. Jenny has worked in international development and humanitarian settings for over 17 years, focusing on housing land and property rights, rule of law, and access to justice. During her entire career Jenny has paid great importance to gender equality and in several roles led the portfolio for gender-based violence and prevention of sexual abuse and exploitation. She has worked in various complex humanitarian and development settings, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Mali and Fiji. Jenny has worked with international NGOs, UN agencies and private sector development consulting. Jenny is a qualified lawyer with a Masters of Law degree in international human rights law.
